Advanced Supermite Evaluation

Players previously playing squirt do not need to attend this evaluation, also players who were rovers last year and want to play rovers again do not need to attend this evaluation.

Supermite aged players that have at least one year of supermite experience can be evaluated for Advanced Mites (Rovers) but use good judgement. It is not recommended that they try it for the experience, being out of place in a tryout is not a “fun” thing for a young player. Players should only tryout for a level that is appropriate for their skills.

If you choose to have your player be evaluated they should still register as a supermite. Once that is complete then register them for the Advanced Mite evaluation.

Based on the Advanced Supermite Evaluation, some players may be given the option to tryout for squirt B if they look like they might not fit in the rover level. To play squirt, they would need to be selected for the squirt B team, otherwise they would return to the rover level.

Advanced Mite Evaluations for the 2026-2027 Season

Advanced Mite evaluations will take place on the dates listed below:

September 9th and September 11th - Times are still to be determined.

Player-specific evaluation times and rink assignments will be posted on the website one day prior to evaluations. An email notification will also be sent with the details.

CHECK-IN: There is a $10 fee to skate the evaluation. We will have a table set-up in the lobby area where you will pay and then receive a helmet number and an evaluation jersey. We will collect the jerseys after the skate; otherwise please wear the same equipment you would if it were the regular season. 

A parent will be allowed inside the locker room to help get their child into their equipment and out of their equipment. Parents can either stay in the locker room area or return to the lobby while the evaluation/skate is happening; watching the evaluation/skate is not allowed.
