RYHA is dedicated to promoting, organizing, and facilitating a program dedicated to recreation, sportsmanship, and excellence in youth hockey in Rochester, Minnesota. The program is specifically designed for all ages in youth hockey.
Our program starts for both boys and girls at the youngest levels with Mite Hockey. (4-6 years old for Termites and 6-9 years old for Supermite). For more information on Mite hockey click on the Mite Hockey tab. Our girl’s program levels are 10U, 12U and 15U. For the boys the levels are Squirts (9&10), Pewees (11&12), and Bantams (13&14).

Starting August 1, players competing in youth, girls, high school or junior hockey within USA Hockey are required to wear neck laceration protectors (NLPs) for all games and practices. In addition, on-ice officials under the age of 18 as well as players in all six disciplines within USA Hockey’s disabled hockey program are also required to wear NLPs.
There are a number of options on the market, Bauer, Aycane, Warroad and Shock Doctor to name a few and they are stocked @ Sports Headquarters, Scheels and at a number of online retailers.

It’s time to start thinking HOCKEY! The Rochester Grizzlies are beginning their search for NEW BILLET families for the 2024-25 Grizzly season. Billeting can be as simple as providing meals and a bed, BUT you are also creating a relationship that can last a lifetime. Your family becomes their family and you truly play a role in their growth and success, in hockey and in life! As a host family, you will receive season tickets to all home games as well as a $400 monthly fee from each player you host. It truly is a wonderful experience!
