RYHA has instituted a new screening process to prevent children from standing outside as the weather gets cold and to aid in contact tracing, should we have a positive case on the team.
Effective immediately, all skaters must RSVP via the SportsEngine app on the day of the event. Providing an RSVP indicates that your skater passes all of the Minnesota Department of Health Screening questions (see sidebar on the team page for full list of questions). As such, RSVP's for events after the current day are not allowed.
Once you have completed your RSVP via the SportsEngine app, you may enter the arena no earlier than 15 minutes prior to our ice time. Players that do not RSVP are not allowed to enter the arena. Our COVID parent, Caryn Rooney, will be monitoring this and can assist with questions that you have. If you need to reach her, there is a link to send her a message on our team page side bar.
The goal of this process is to make the screening process faster and easier and also to provide us a way to know who was at each practice so that we can do more effective contact tracing in the event of a positive case.
Thank you for your cooperation with this new process.
